Pizza Bella in Matlacha

My friend and I ordered a large Hawaiian pizza and some garlic knots. The garlic knots were pretty tasty. We did not have a dipping sauce for them so they were just pretty bready, would have enjoyed a sauce but forgot to ask before we left. Still very good.The pizza was also quite tasty. Was ready in about 15mins. Really liked the crust, toppings, and sauce. Wasn't much sauce and that's how I like it. The pizza was a bit too cheesy and it sat heavier and is not as good later after it's sat for a bit. But was still good at the time of eating.

Food was great. Very large portions. Polenta is delicious. Mike is very upbeat. We will go back often! Salads fresh.

Under new ownership, the menu has changed, the food isn't as good, and the service isn't as friendly. After being a weekly customer for several years, I will not be going back.

This was our first time here and we were so happy with the service and the Pizza. We're from New England and was looking for a pizza place that was as good as home. We found it. I highly recommend this place!! Loved everything about it. Ann

Wow what can i say honestly ! Firstly i tried the Italian stallion sandwich wifey had the steak and cheese and let me tell i dont know if its because i was that hungry or not but hands down probably one of the best sandwiches ive ever had, and wifeys was amazing as well we had a chat with the owner and while enjoying my lunch and found quickly that he was a top notch gentlemen as he offered us a ride on his personal boat for our first time! I couldnt believe the generosity of these people first the food was amazing then amazing customer service. Decided to come back later for dinner with the wifey and got the chicken alfredo with ziti noodles and once again i was not let down, im fully convinced that no matter what you order from here you will not be let down !! I am for sure coming back tomorrow for some pizza to enjoy before the boat ride !! 5 stars anyday of the week! UPDATE: Pizza was amazing sunburn from the water...

Fantastic pizza and great service!

Went in for pizza, it was good but I'm from Chicago and am used to this style over say a New York type. The server may have been the owner, she was wonderful. Looking forward to going back to try some of the other options. The tarimassu was one of the best I'd ever had. To be fair it's one of the best pizzas in the area that I've tried so far.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this beautiful little spot while walking around Matlacha. The staff is really really nice, friendly, and even gave us good recommendations for what to do in town. Also, their pizza is to die for, probably one of the best we've tried in FL! Definitely worth the stop!!!

Recently under new management, this little gem has pizza that is amazing with authentic-tasting new york style crust. Great little mom and pop feel and cutely decorated. Staff is warm and friendly. Love it and will definately return. Check it out you will be happy you did!

Found this place while working near by. Food is so good, owner very nice but sometimes seems a little short. But it’s just because she’s from Italy and her English isn’t the best. But I eat here every day now, just wish it was closer to home.

We had the iconic Pizza Kitchen Sink (takeaway) Really...you have to taste it when in Matlacha. Served by the best crew ever! Loved it.

I called an order in and it was ready in an amazing timeframe. Everyone was so nice when I came in to pick up and everyone struck up a quick conversation with me. The pizza tasted great and for the size/toppings the price was exceptional. The parking in the back was the icing on the cake for a Matlacha business, easy in and out!

The restaurant has new owners now but they do not disappoint. Pizza and subs ordered were both soooo delicious, the meatballs are homemade too.

Tight seating. Small area,but not cozy. Staff attentive,but not warm. Good food. No small pizza options.

Decent pizza but not one of the 3 people standing near the entrance greeted us when we walked inside. Also, dont accidentally drop your pizza on the floor(1/2 of a pizza in my case)or you'll be charged full price.

The restaurant is OPEN again under new ownership. Pizza was great. Brought pizza to the Island Avenue gang. Noone knew it was reopen. Suggest some local marketing to the group that will be the backbone of your success. We want you to succeed!

Being from Chicago I know a thing or two about Pizza. The Pizza was very good. The crust was very thin, but had good flavor. They sell an appetizer that has mozzarella cheese inside bread with dipping sauce, and although I can not remember the name it was also very tasty. Overall good service and a friendly staff. If you are in the Cape Coral/Ft. Myers FL area make sure to stop in and get a pizza.

We just tried Bella Pizza under the new ownership and it was SUPER. The pizza crust was so fresh and the cheese blend was tasty. Such a charming place! Dario did a great job waiting on us! It was his first day! His dad is the pizza maker (Mike?) Really really good! We were regular customers under the old ownership (Italia) and are pleased that it is still the best place around for fresh pizza 🍕!

The chef was amazing! He ran down to a nearby restaurant to get fresh shrimp for my pizza and asked how many capers I liked with my shrimp. Brothers ran this place and they were fantastic. Great pizza!

Wandered in one evening to a friendly and gracious staff. We found the white pizza on the menu! Great crust and very cheesy! Attentive staff (thanks for taking care of our forgotten cell phone until we could get back), cute decor and fun central location. Nice to have delivery as an option next time. Great service!!
